Where are you based?
SassyBadger.com is based in a little city of 2 million souls called Auckland, in a country called New Zealand. This little land is the place where all the Hobbit were filmed, along with Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings cinematic interpretation of the trilogy. We can honestly say that Hobbiton is approximately 3 hours drive from where we are.
What time frame should I expect for shipping?
We often process orders on the day that it’s made and do our best to get it delivered to you as soon as possible. When choosing our delivery options, we take into consideration delivery location, ordered items type, quantity, size and fragility.
Below is what to expect concerning delivery times:
Auckland: Next day or 2-3 days, dependent on the weekends and public holidays.
The rest of New Zealand: Give or take 2 – 5 working days.
Australia, USA, UK: Via International Air, 10 – 32 working days.
The rest of the world: Via International Air, 10 – 32 working days.
A note about New Zealand orders – we hold most of our stock in our Auckland based warehouse, however, we also have stock held outside of New Zealand. For these non-NZ specific stock, delivery can take approximately 32 working days to get to you.
What’s your Returns Policy?
If the item received is not as described on the website (i.e. size, colour, detailing etc), we’re happy to refund you upon receipt of the returned product. However, since we quality control our stock, we hope this never happens.
Please note that any costs incurred during the returns process is not part of the refund. (i.e. postage costs required to send the product back). The refunded amount for returns will be the amount paid on the product only (i.e. not inclusive of postage and handling fee) minus 3rd party processing and handing fee.
What if there’s an issue with my package?
If there is an issue with your received package, please contact us within 3 days of receiving the package so that we can sort it out as soon as possible. Please supply photographic proof and a description of the issue. If we deem the issue as valid and in good faith, we will endevour to make things right as soon as possible.

How secure is your payments system?
We use PayPal as our payments provider. Founded in 1998, PayPal is right at the center of online payments system. One of the most internationally recognised and secure payments systems online, we can assure you that PayPal is safe.
